We didn’t set out to build a business — we set out to build a farm we were proud of.
Homeland Farm Pets started the way most great things do: with a single animal, a lot of curiosity, and a family that fell completely in love. Our first mini cow changed everything. She was gentle, endlessly entertaining, and filled our property with a kind of life we hadn’t expected. Before long, we had goats, miniature donkeys, and more — and neighbors and friends kept asking where they could get one too.
That’s how this farm became what it is today. We are a family operation, and every animal here is raised by us, on our land, with our hands. We do not source from auctions or third-party breeders. Every calf, kid, and foal born at Homeland Farm Pets has been cared for by our family from day one.
Over the past decade, we have placed over 500 animals with families, hobby farmers, homesteaders, and ranchers in all 50 states. Each one of those placements matters to us. We follow up, we answer calls, and we stay in touch — because we care what happens to every animal that leaves our farm.

At Homeland Farm Pets, our mission is simple: to breed, raise, and place the healthiest, most well-socialized miniature livestock in America — and to support every owner along the way.
We believe that animals raised with love and consistency become animals that are safe, gentle, and a joy to own. That belief drives everything we do, from the way we design our pastures and feeding programs to the way we screen our buyers and follow up after delivery.

Animal welfare above all — our animals are never overcrowded, never stressed, and never sold before they are ready.

Honest, transparent sales — what you see is what you get. We describe our animals accurately and will always tell you if a particular animal isn’t the right fit for your situation.

Long-term relationships — we want to be your farm partner for years, not just a one-time seller. Many of our customers have come back for a second, third, and fourth animal.

OUR ANIMALS

We specialize in a carefully curated selection of miniature livestock, chosen for their temperament, adaptability, and suitability for small farms and family properties.

Mini Cows & Mini Highland Cows

Our miniature cows are bred for gentle temperament and compact size. We raise both standard mini breeds and the iconic Scottish Highland — beloved for their long, wavy coats and naturally calm personality. All our calves are weaned, halter-trained, vaccinated, and health-certified before leaving the farm.

Mini Donkeys

Our miniature donkeys are raised in pairs and small groups to ensure they arrive confident and well-socialized. They are gentle with children, bond easily with other livestock, and have a lifespan of 25–35 years. If you want a farm companion that will be with you for the long haul, a mini donkey is hard to beat.

Goats

We raise Nigerian Dwarf and Pygmy goats — two of the most popular small-farm breeds in the country. They are friendly, curious, and easy to keep, making them an ideal starting point for first-time livestock owners. Our does can also produce a small supply of rich, high-butterfat milk.

Mini Horses & More

We occasionally have miniature horses and other small livestock available. Contact us to ask about current availability and upcoming litters.

OUR HEALTH & WELFARE STANDARDS

Every animal that leaves Homeland Farm Pets meets the following standards:

• ✅ Fully vaccinated against core diseases appropriate for their species and age
• ✅ Dewormed and on a regular parasite management schedule
• ✅ Health-certified by a licensed veterinarian before transport
• ✅ Weaned at the appropriate age — never too early
• ✅ Halter-trained and people-socialized from birth
• ✅ Health paperwork provided — all records travel with the animal

We meet or exceed all state-mandated health requirements for interstate transport, and we will walk you through any paperwork your state requires before your animal arrives.

OUR SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Distance is no barrier. We have successfully transported animals to all 50 states, and we take the logistics of that process seriously.

We work with experienced, animal-friendly transporters who specialize in livestock. Our animals travel in clean, well-ventilated trailers with adequate space, water, and bedding. We monitor every shipment and keep you updated from departure to delivery.

If you are local to our area, you are also welcome to arrange a farm visit and pick up your animal in person — we love meeting our buyers face to face.
